Okay! For the last two hours I have been tinking, counting, praying, and knitting and I think I finally have my sister's Smoke Ring back on track.
Every row of this pattern is a different stitch count so I really have to pay attention. I guess I must have been distracted last night and ended up one stitch short. The light green yarn on the edge is a provisional cast on so I can go back when the whole collar is finished, pick up the live stitches and knit a picot edge which will match the bind off edge.
Only two and a half more skeins of yarn to knit! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Oh, that's pretty! Took me a second to recognize the Elann pattern. I love how the colors on yours are coming out.
