Someone didn't get the memo

The afternoon ladies chuckled because most of us were knitting something purple.
Barbara worked on her Palindrome Scarf which was a deep royal purple.
Liz worked on her variation of the Mistake Stitch Scarf in a soft Lamb's Pride Mohair and Wool blend in a pretty orchid color.
I knitted my hat with a Cascade 220 soft purple using inspiration from the "Wurm" pattern.
And Cinzia is still toiling away on the edging of her vest but it will be beautiful when she's finished.
Her daughter, Elena, joined us before her school year starts this week. She chose two colors of Lamb's Pride...teal and gold. It's going to be a beautiful scarf.

Debbie put the finishing touches on her hat and added it to the inventory today.
And Liz brought a few finished items. This baby sweater is a top down simple pattern.
Those buttons are adorable!
She also added two cowls like this for the upcoming donation.
Margaret is almost done with her hat. She needs some color for her next project. The last couple of items have been this neutral oatmeal so she could use it up but it's getting boring. We need to spice it up for her.
Carole worked on Citrus. It's a free hat pattern on Ravelry with multiple sizes from baby to adult.
And Beth almost completed a diagonal lap blanket using Plymouth Encore in a soft pastel.
The calendar says September but the thermometer says summer so we're sticking to the smaller projects until the weather cools down a bit. Personally, I'm looking forward to the days when I can wrap a warm, wooly scarf around my neck and feel the brisk air on my face.
